The Amplify Mixed Media Shears are *AMAZING*. These aren’t just scissors. They are light weight, easy to use, and sharp! Ideally you should have a pair of scissors for paper and another for fabrics. I wanted to test these out on everything. I tested them on paper, fabric, cardboard, styrofoam, even burlap. I got the perfect cut every single time. And easily! I’ve never had scissors that went through such thick and tough materials so easily before. I was really impressed. So impressed I tossed all of our other scissors!
Fiskars also makes this really awesome punch system called AdvantEdge Punch System. It allows you to make really intricate boarders in no time. The Advant Edge Punch System comes with the Daisy Chain. You can purchase extra cartridges to help design the projects of your dreams! I used it to create some borders to wrap around candle holders. Viola. Instant upgrade! I love that these are easy to use and don’t take up tons of room. Perfect for me and my small crafting space.
