The Polar Loop is a MUST have for anyone who lives an active lifestyle or who WANTS to have an active lifestyle. I know that there are lots of fitness trackers out there, but this one is different. And it’s amazing.

 

1. It’s easy to use. To charge simply plug into your computer. The charger is easy to attach – it is attracted by a magnet!

 

2. It’s waterproof!! This is the first fitness tracker that you can swim with!

 

3. You can add one of Polar’s heart rate monitors and get even more data and more precise numbers. No heart rate? Don’t worry – I found that Polar was pretty spot on with my times and steps. (Yes, I was the weirdo outside counting my steps and then seeing how many my Loop told me I had.)

 

4. The (free) software allows you to track your progress!

 

5. It’s fun! I can look at my Loop and see how much activity I’ve done for the day and how much I need to still do. It also tells me how many minutes I would have to do in a high energy level workout (like jogging) or a low energy level workout (like walking). I’ve found that it’s pretty motivational – I can see that in order to reach my daily goal I only need to go jog for 6 minutes. 6 minutes? I can do that! So off I go!

I feel very techie when I wear this, but I don’t have to be techie to work it. Which is great, because I’m NOT techie. I absolutely love it and I feel empowered with it. It is such a great tool to use. I am going to get my son one for Christmas. I think that him earning 100% on his activity tracker would be a great way to earn video game time! 🙂

It’s no secret that I love candles. They make my house smell so delicious and are a great piece of decor. I have candles from all over the place – tons of stores. But it’s official. I have a new favorite. One that I will be going to for ALL of my future candle purchases! City Creek Candles!! I love decorating with vintage finds mixed in with our decor so I was really excited when I saw the Heritage Collection. These candles are beautiful plus they smell amazing!! I got the white vanilla scented candle in an urn. I love that I can keep it out year around. It goes with everything. Before we even lit it, you could smell the vanilla in our living room! Once it was lit, it burned evenly and smelled so good!! Plus, I love that the candle jars and ceramic containers are made to be reused once your candle is consumed. Once our urn is complete it will make a wonderful vase!

 

Recently I’ve become obsessed with candle warmers. They are so nice to be able to turn on/off and not have to worry about open flames with little ones. Candle Warmers Etc has you covered with a HUGE selection of the cutest warmers around. I’ve tested out the Illumination Warmers.

 

Our decor in our living room is warm and slightly rustic. We have a big brick fireplace and rich, warm colors used to decorate. I HAD to get the owl warmer. He is perfect for our everyday look! I love him and I was honestly a little upset when I had to put him away to pull out our Christmas decorations.

 

But I lived because I got to pull this cutie out!! The warmers are great. Simple switches to turn them on/off, the scents melt quickly and fill your home with the most amazing smells.

 

Oh boy the scents!! I got Birthday Cake, Christmas Day and Balsam Fir. The smells are sooooo good. And you can smell them!! Not just at the beginning. And not just for a few minutes. But they last. I first put in the birthday cake and my son actually came upstairs from the basement because he thought I made cupcakes. Yeah. They are that amazing!! I can not wait to test out the other scents!!
