Cooking is not one of my favorite things. No, let me take that back. I like to cook when it’s on my own terms. But when it comes down to trying to get dinner on the table with a million other things happening at once- homework, events, sports practice, pets, and you know, just life, then I like to have a few tricks up my sleeve.
And these chicken parmesan sandwich pockets are a great trick to have. They are not only delicious and really easy to make (there are only 4 ingredients!), but they freeze well and are lunchbox friendly. Which means you can make a batch and just take out as needed. Perfect for those super busy game nights!
You will need:
- 1 package refrigerated biscuits
- Mozzerella shredded cheese
- Frozen breaded chicken patties
- Prego® Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
Here is how to make them:
Start by prepping the oven by preheating it to 350. You will also want to put down a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Open the refrigerated biscuits and flatten.
Add a spoonful of Prego Traditional Spaghetti Sauce. Prego has been a long trusted staple in my family’s pantry. It brings amazing flavor with the awesome convenience that busy mom’s need. And trust me, no one complains about dinner when they see the jar ofPrego out!
Next you will need a precooked breaded chicken patty. Place on on top of the Prego spaghetti sauce.
Top with cheese.
Flatten another biscuit and add some more sauce. Because you can never have enough Prego!
Sandwich everything together and press the edges down to seal.
Cook for 25-27 minutes, flipping half way through.
Dip in more Prego of course!
Once you try these yummy sandwiches you will be hooked! They are seriously delicious. And being able to put them together in just a few minutes is exactly what this busy mom needs.
