How To Help Your Child’s Sports Team!

Sports are an important part of growing up! Being apart of a team is not only great socially, but the benefit of being active and creating a healthy lifestyle is a skill that will be with your child throughout their life.

Let me be honest about my son. Sports are not 100% his thing. He has Autism so sometimes the social rules of the game can make things really difficult. Ok, a lot of the time. So we have looked for things that he can do solo, but still, be apart of the team. Luckily, he loves to swim. We have finally found ‘his thing’.

Sports are so much fun, but they can get expensive too. Have you heard of Pear Up? Pear Up is a great way to raise money for your organization/sports team! You can simply add your team’s information online and share it on social media. People can donate directly through the website. If you create a Pear Up for your child’s team, be sure to leave a link in the comments so we can all share and support one another!

Right now, Safeskin has teamed up with Pear Up to bring a team apparel sponsorship. You just have to create an account for your team, share it and then you can get up to $1000 off towards custom team t-shirts! Yes, $1,000! That’s a lot of t-shirts! Pretty cool right?!?

Be sure to support the Pear of the team! Or remember, you can create your own Pear Up account for your child’s sports team!

For us, raising money for our swim team means t-shirts and help paying for travel related expenses! I think that Pear Up is a really great tool that can help so many organizations out there!

What sports do your children play? How can Pear Up help their organization?
