It’s November and already bitter cold in Indiana. Colder than we are used to right now! And while we aren’t getting 6 feet of snow (thank goodness!) we have been getting some. I’m not sure if it’s because I just got back from Florida or jut because we usually don’t get snow this early, but I am not ready!! At all!
So what are you going to do when it’s too cold to go outside? Well there really is only one thing you can do…
I was so glad that I had received the new Just Dance 2015 video game in the mail to review. Can you say perfect timing? We have had Just Dance video games before and they have always been a hit. It’s a great way for the whole family to get up and play together and have fun. Not to mention to stay active! Those dance moves will have you burning some calories!
Just Dance 2015 was no exception. It came with an all new playlist of songs including new popular hits like “Problem” by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. It also had classic favorites like “Walk This Way” by Run DMC & Aerosmith and maybe this stuck in the 90’s mom’s favorite, The Macarena. Oh yes.
There was also Let it Go from Frozen and while Sydney and I danced to it, the boys simply cried out ewwww! It’s Frozen. Boys. What do they know? 🙂
This is a great game for families to play together because up to four people can dance at once together. If you are playing with less, you do have the option with connecting online to play with other people around the world which is cool too.
And I REALLY love the fact that Ubisoft has teamed up with Stomp Out Bullying to “show that everyone can dance to their own beat!” How true! When we play this game, we all look silly. We didn’t know any of the moves and we well, I don’t exactly look like Katy Perry out there dancing! But how you look dancing doesn’t matter! It’s all about having fun! And luckily, that’s an awesome lesson to carry out in other aspects of life. The fun songs and sometimes silly choreography lets you really let loose and just have fun.

Josh gave it a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars and Caleb gave it 4 1/4 stars. Unless it was a song that he won. Then it was a full 5 stars. 🙂

My husband and I actually love games like this for date nights in. We can’t always get out of the house, and dancing is super fun!

We have Just Dance and it’s a lot of fun. Especially when it’s too cold or nasty to actually get outside to exercise.

Our Xbox kicked the bucket, twice. Decided not to bother fixing. We tried a Wii but in our old farmhouse it make the walls rattle. LOL We have a PS3 now.

I live in Indiana and I agree. It’s been bitterly cold!!! We’ve been playing Just Dance at our house too! We love our Kinect and it’s such a fun way to spend family time together AND be active!

We have an older version of just dance and love it for parties. We’ve had more than a few dance offs over the years.
