In a private ceremony in Italy with their families, the duo tied a knot. It was a closed affair which was attended by few close friends and family members. The marriage took place at the at Borgo Finocchieto, a luxury villa in Tuscany.

After hiding it for so long, the newly-wed finally took to their social media accounts to make an official announcement of their marriage. The official announcement read, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

A few days back Anushka and Virat left for Italy with their families from Mumbai and Delhi respectively. The former was spotted at the airport with her family and a pandit which added fuel to the on-going speculations. Though the family members and Anushka’s spokesperson remained tight-lipped.

Today, we also informed you that unknowingly Jacqueline Fernandez confirmed the news and agreed that the couple is tying the knot. At the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2017, the Race 3 actress was quite thrilled about the news. When she was asked about the grand wedding of Virushka, she jumped in joy and did a happy dance, she said, “I am so so excited. I think it is amazing news. I am really happy for Anushka and Virat. I can’t wait for it.” Soon after when Jacqueline realized that she spoke too much, she soon twisted her words and said, “Okay, I didn’t confirm it, he told me (pointing towards the reporter)…I am hearing this news for the first time. Invitation bhi nahi mila abhi tak.”

Now, we are eagerly waiting for Anushka and Virat to come back to Mumbai as a grand reception is awaiting them. If reports are to be believed, a grand reception is being planned for them on December 26th in Mumbai which will be graced by who’s who of Bollywood and Sports. A source recently revealed, “Virat’s first invites were sent to Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, who he’s closest to in the team. On the other hand, Anushka sent her first wedding invitation to Adi and Shah Rukh Khan. SRK, too, is in the know of things because Anushka, who is very close to the superstar, was shooting for a film opposite him and has now taken a break for her nuptials.”
