Fashion for Moms – Cute & Budget Friendly Outfits

One my resolutions this year is to get more stylish. I used to wear cute clothes all the time and over the years I feel as though I am always wearing the same few outfits. And yes, that includes my usual standby of yoga pants (please don’t judge me!). So 2014 is the year I break out of the rut.

Naturally, the first place I looked was Pinterest. I love that the work is already done for me. Cute outfits…matched together with the perfect accessories. But have you ever seriously checked out the prices for the outfits? YIKES! So I thought I would help everyone out. Each week I’ll pick a super adorable outfit on Pinterest and turn it into a budget friendly, adorable outfit! Fashion for Moms is important and fun! 🙂

I loved this outfit the minute I saw it! Great staples that probably should be in my closet layered together to make a cute outfit perfect for errands, lunch with friends or a meeting at the school. Great, except that this outfit costs $2,435! But don’t worry – I’ve cut that cost by almost 90%! That’s right – I’ll show you how you can get this outfit for less than $250 for ALL 10 items!

I found 2 look alike cardigans. The first is also from a European company (they ship world wide – and shipping isn’t bad!) called House of Frasier. It’s on sale for $42.67 (including shipping to the US!)

Every closet needs a crisp white shirt! A layering staple. The original shirt on the left is from Style Bop and cost $160. (Currently sold out)

The look alike belt is Tommy Hilfiger. On Amazon, it was originally $42 but right now you can get it for $14.95!

A good pair of jeans are super important! But you don’t need to spend a lot! The original jeans are Levi’s Made & Crafted Tender mid-rise boot cut jeans in indigo. They are $105 and this particular pair is from The Outnet.

I love the look of these boots! However, this mom can’t afford to pay $567 for a pair! Actually, these Maison Martin Margiela Kitten Ankle Boots were originally over $800! Wowsers!

Payless has a pair of Savannah Short Boots that I like a lot! Originally $34.99 they are on sale for $29.99!

I think this is such a gorgeous bag but not a gorgeous price. Actually the almost $1,300 price tag is just plain scary for me! Luckily you can get a look alike bag on Amazon from Aldo for $40! I’ve owned sever Aldo bags and always been happy with them!

Both of the bracelets above are from Forever 21. The originals were from the Canadian Forever 21 and the Look Alike set are from the US Forever 21. And a bargain at only $6.50!

Every outfit needs a good pair of sunglasses! The originals are Marc by Marc Jacobs Oversized Aviator ($98). Don’t want to spend that much? Check out the aviator sunglasses (in the middle) for only $13.19 on Amazon (and get free shipping!) or the pair on the right for only $12.00 from Maurices!

The watch in the original outfit was a good deal! The Anne Klein watch (on the left) is priced at $65 and includes FREE shipping. The Nine West watch (on the right) is a great deal for only $36.75 with FREE shipping!

And finally the earrings. The original ones were a great deal at $9.99 from Nordstroms. Sadly they are sold out. But Maurices has a very similar pair and they are only $8.00!
