4 Ingredient Cranberry Brie Bites Appetizer – Easy, Fancy & Delicious

Thanksgiving is IN A FEW DAYS y’all. I can’t believe it. I’m working over here on finalizing our menu (because I do it a few days in advance and definitely am not organized anytime before then…) I can tell you that these cranberry brie bites WILL BE ON THEM! Why? Because I’m a fan of several things. And this appetizer brings A LOT of those things together.

  • Delicious food
  • Easy to make
  • Impressive
  • Brings everyone together

I’m all for easy things o make. Everyone knows that Dustin is the cook in our home. But even I can whip these cranberry brie bites up in a flash. Best yet, every time I make them or take them somewhere people ALWAYS say ‘Oh my gosh, these look good! So fancy!’

I don’t laugh because it’s not true! They are fancy. I laugh because they are SO stinking simple. Seriously, 4 ingredients and just a few minutes. Slice, drop and bake. And here I am looking like a fancy schmancy Suzy Homemaker. That my friends….is comical.

Pitch ins, company dinners, Thanksgiving, Christmas….a random Wednesday night dinner…these cranberry brie bites are good ANYTIME.

You can make them in a regular muffin tin for 12 larger ‘bites’ or if you want a true bite size appetizer, use a mini muffin tin.

I promise. One bite and you will be making these ALL the time! Ready for our easy, four ingredient recipe?

Servings: large bites

  1. Lightly flour a counter top.

  2. Roll out a sheet of crescent dough. If you can’t find the whole sheets, you can use the crescent rolls, just pinch the perforated lines to make them whole.

  3. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice into 12 pieces. If using a mini muffin tin for tiny bites, cut the dough into 24 pieces.

  4. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Put each square of dough into the pan making sure that it forms a bit of a bowl.

  5. Next, slice your cheese into 12 pieces. I cut the rind of mine, but you can leave it on if you wish. It is edible and a bit of personal preference! If using the mini pan, cut each slice in half.

  6. Add one slice of cheese into each dough ‘bowl’.

  7. Open a can of whole cranberry sauce. Spoon some on top of each piece of cheese.

  8. Lastly, lay a bit of fresh rosemary on top of each one.

  9. Bake in the oven at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

  10. Serve warm.

Holiday Conversation Cards For Kids

Disclosure: This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #FallIntoComfortFood #CollectiveBias

Holidays have a tendency of getting away from you sometimes. There always seems like there are two hundred things to do, but only time to do about fifty of them. Shopping, cooking, cleaning, wrapping, photos, cards, planning, calling and the list goes on and on. And, as if your to do list wasn’t long enough, kids are on break and sometimes it is just too dang cold to be outside.

Long story short…we are busy. And I know if I’m busy in my home, then you are busy too! But one thing that we like to make sure of no matter how busy we are is that everyone is eating a good breakfast and we have a little bit of time to spend it as a family.

No matter if that means breakfast is sitting at the table together or if we are grabbing a breakfast to go as we race to cross off things on our to do list for the day. Eating together is important for me. Which means that I need yummy food that I can serve my family.

Our whole house is obsessed with Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage & Gravy Stuffed Biscuits! They only take about a minute to make, which is a HUGE mom win!

Our kids are also big fans of Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage & Egg Cheese Stuffed Biscuits. Cheesy goodness.

You can find both of the Odom’s Tennessee Pride Stuffed Biscuits at Walmart. Which works out perfectly since you know that you will be there crossing off everything on your holiday shopping list from gifts to food! (Psst! If you haven’t tried out Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup Service, do yourself a favor and try it! It makes your shopping SO simple!) You can find lots of yummy easy food ideas here!

I’m a huge believer in the fact that good food brings along good conversation. So to help, I created a few fun free printable conversation cards for the holidays! You can download them here!

Simply print and cut and you are ready for some fun.

There is a pack of Thanksgiving conversation cards with things like ‘Pumpkin pie or apple pie?’ and ‘Give the person on your right a compliment.’

These cards would be perfect not just for while you are eating breakfast, but they would be perfect for printing for your Thanksgiving table for people to grab or to use with your name cards!

There is also a pack for Christmas filled with fun questions for kids and adults alike! Some sample questions include ‘What is one thing on your Christmas list?’ and ‘Hot chocolate or eggnog?’

Our kids loved the Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage & Gravy Stuffed Biscuits so much, we are thinking about having a few boxes of them for Christmas morning. You know, when the kids get up way before it should legally be allowed to classify as Christmas morning? Yep. These may make my life so much easier! And we will totally bust out our conversation cards!

What kind of cookies do you think are Santa’s favorite? Hmmm….I think Santa loves a good sugar cookie. With the sugar crystal sprinkles. What about you?

Don’t forget to pin our free printable holiday conversation cards!

Christmas Time Bucket List

This is one of my favorite times of the year! But it is super easy to get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of everything and forget to stop and enjoy it. I caught myself just this year talking to a friend and she asked what I was doing over the weekend. I replied as “Oh my gosh we are so busy. I’ve got to run here and there. We have a birthday party. I need to get caught up on the laundry. And I HAVE to get the tree up and decorated. UGH. I haven’t even started….”

That used to be one of my favorite things to do! It’s not an ugh. It’s just a busy time. I decided right then and there that we were going to slow down a bit and enjoy the Christmas time season. When I started thinking about all the ways to enjoy it, I realized that we will be as busy as ever, but now it’s not an UGH so much we have to do…it’s a YES there is so much we get to do!

Just because we are busy doesn’t mean we can’t make our lives easier! One of my tips is to shop at places that you can pick up everything you need under one roof. And one of my favorite places to shop is Dollar General! I love that I can grab some NESTLÉ® Hot Cocoa Mix (The 6 count is on sale for $1!) for us to cross off #1 on our list as well as things like Christmas tree decorations (#9!), toys for our own family gift giving or for donations (#4!) and even new pj’s for the kids (#3!)

It’s literally everything under one roof to cross off our entire Christmas Time Bucket List! And I can run in and out so much more quickly than at the big box stores. That’s a HUGE win!

Can we just talk about cost too? This is the time for giving and we love to do lots of service projects as a family. So being able to save on the things we need for our family is important. Did you know that Dollar General has Digital Coupons? (They also take printed coupons!) You can find coupons for products that you love like:

-DIGIORNO® RISING CRUST® Pizza -$1/1 – Feed the gang!

-NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels – $1.50/2 – Bake their holiday special

-NESCAFÉ® TASTER’S CHOICE® Instant Coffee – $2/1 – Fire up the conversation and connect with family and friends

-NESTLÉ® COFFEE-MATE® Liquid Coffee Creamer – $1/1– Fire up the conversation and connect with family and friends

-NESTLÉ® Stand Up Bags – $1/1 – Perfect stocking stuffers

You can check out all of the great coupons here!

One thing that we do to make the holidays a little less stressful is to wrap gifts BEFORE Christmas Eve. (No more staying up late!) We’ve turned our pizza night into gift wrap nights! It’s actually a lot of fun and something we look forward to. (We do it a few times during the month!) First I grab a quick pizza like DIGIORNO® RISING CRUST® Pizza (don’t forget your coupon!)

We come home and while it cooks we gather our supplies. Wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift bags, ribbons, bows and lots of tape! Everyone takes their supplies to their room. When the pizza is done, we grab a slice and head off to our rooms to wrap a few gifts. Normally, we are never allowed to eat anywhere except for the kitchen table. So this is a big treat!

I’m all about taking the stress out of the holidays and bringing in the fun! And places like Dollar General and products like DIGIORNO®! What are some things on your Christmas time bucket list? How do you take the stress out of the holidays?

Don’t forget to pin!

10 Festive Holiday Card Displays

It’s that time of the year again! Time to get together your holiday cards! I don’t know about you, but I love receiving cards from my family and friends in the mail. I love to see their family photos! We display ours on a board and to be honest, I keep many of them year after year!

Photo cards are a great way to keep in touch with family and friends no matter how far away that they live. You can share a specific holiday photo or create a photo collage to show what your family has been doing for the past year. However you do it, these cards are a huge hit. And right now on Snapfish you can save 30% using the code COUP30 (through 11/30/16). Not only will you be able to order your holiday cards, but you can turn some of your photos into fun and unique gifts or maybe a nice canvas to display at home!

Now that you have your cards ordered, get ready for cards to arrive from your family and friends. Here are a few ideas on how to display your holiday cards this year!

I absolutely adore the evergreen in this holiday card display!

I love that you can keep this display from Liz Marie Blog up all year long!

I made this display from Lolly Jane a few years ago and I am obsessed. I keep mine up all year, usually in my office area to hold work papers, but during the holiday time, it comes out where everyone can see!

Add some pretty ribbon and this display is a great way to even have your doors spread with Christmas cheer!

I just adore this rustic shutter display!

Merry Mail – I can’t think of a better way to describe it!!

This DIY display is so easy but looks so great!

After the holidays are done, I love the idea of adding your cards to a ring to make kind of a holiday card scrapbook. What a nice way to keep them all together for years to come!

This wreath will look great decked out with cards from your family and friends!

Layer On Love Service Project

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #LayerOnLove #CollectiveBias

I try to teach my son lots of things like math and manners. I try to teach him that some days a good book and a cup of hot cocoa are just what you need and that a little work never hurt anybody. One thing that I hope that he can look back on his childhood one day and say is that I taught him that you are always in a position to help someone else. That is so important to me! I love doing service projects with Joshua. We volunteer with an animal rescue regularly. We have served meals at a local shelter. We have cleaned up a park. We donate things to classrooms and schools. We talk a lot about how lucky we are and think of new ways that we can help others.

Which is why I was so excited to hear about the Layer On Love project from Coca-Cola! Coca-Cola has partnered with an amazing organization called One Warm Coat. Their goal is to give away HALF A MILLION coats this year to those in need. How amazing?! You can help too! Find out where to donate a new or gently used coat to a location near you or check out one of the other ways to get involved. (Find out more information here!) I love supporting companies who are doing good work! So you know when we are in Walmart I am picking up some Coca-Cola!

While I was at Walmart picking up a few 2-Liters of Coca-Cola and Diet Coca-Cola (my fave!) I decided to pick up a few other items for Josh to create his own little project. We like to serve Thanksgiving dinner at a local shelter and when I heard the phrase “Layer On Love” it made me think of a previous year when I was told that the shelter desperately needed warm socks. Indiana gets really cold in the winter and unfortunately several of the shoes that the men in the shelter wear have holes in them, are canvas or are thin from wear. Snow, slush, and sleet all creep inside their shoes and there is nothing worse than cold wet socks. We are so excited to donate coats to One Warm Coat and know that we are keeping people warm all the way down to their toes with our socks! 🙂

Easy Service Project For Kids

This year when we go to serve our Turkey Day dinner we will be bring our own Love Packs. I knew Joshua would be excited about this project! We came home, got our supplies, poured a big glass of Coca-Cola and got to work stuffing bags with socks, snacks and toiletries to bring with us. This is an amazing project that you can do with your kids! Joshua is 13 and he loved picking out items for the bags as well as packing them up himself. It’s a perfect way to get the conversation of giving started! Whether you make 2 bags or 200, they are sure to be appreciated!

Looking for ideas on what to put in your bags? Here are a few:

  • Socks – We bought thick boot socks
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrush with a travel case
  • Toothpaste
  • Shampoo
  • Soap
  • Granola Bars or other individually packaged snacks
  • Can of Coca-Cola
  • Gloves
  • Hat
  • Scarf
  • $5 gift cards for places like fast food or coffee shops

We have a free printable for you as well!

I set mine to print 4 to a page and printed on card stock. We used just red string to tie the labels around our socks, but you can attach it anywhere! Feel free to write on your bags positive messages or have your kiddos draw pictures. This project is all about giving in anyway you see fit!

By coming together and inspiring your followers to donate to One Warm Coat® on, we could collectively help to put a coat on one million people in need this winter.

DIY Instagram Coasters – Perfect Gift Idea!

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.#SaveYourMemories#CollectiveBias

Do you have your gifts all picked out yet? If not, don’t worry! I have a great DIY project for you that is not only beautiful, but they are so personal! They completely qualifiy as the perfect gift idea, because it’s a useful, practical way to showcase important moments. What could it be? DIY Instagram coasters!

Instagram Coasters

This project is inexpensive, quick and really, really, really easy. In fact, the hardest part is picking out your favorite photos! My younger brother recently took a trip to England with his college. I’m guilty of not printing out my photos as often as I should. I have photos saved on phones, Instagram accounts, and on memory cards still loaded in the camera. And I know that if I have stored photos that my brother definitely has some stored photos! So I really wanted to get some in a place that he can show them off, help remember his trip and have something useful. (You know, to help protect all of that really nice, garage sale and taken from your mom’s basement college furniture…) 🙂

Instagram Coasters

So you only need a few supplies – tile coasters, furniture pads, Mod Podge and a foam brush. Oh and an awesome printer!

Instagram Coasters

The HP Envy 4512 All-in-One Printer/Copier/Scanner is an all in one printer, scanner, copier and it did an awesome job printing out some of my brother’s Instagram photos!

Instagram Coasters

I mean look at this! It did a great job printing off these really important photos. I couldn’t be happier!

Instagram Coasters

After your photos are printed, trim them to fit your coasters.

Instagram Coasters

Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge directly to the coaster.

Instagram Coasters

Add your photos and let dry. Gosh, don’t the photos look great? I know as soon as he opens them, he’s going to instantly recognize the photos as ones he took on his trip!

Instagram Coasters

Add a layer of Mod Podge on top of the photos and let dry. This will help seal the photos and make sure that the ink doesn’t bleed from condensation from the glasses.

Instagram Coasters

Once they are dry, add the furniture pads to the bottom of the coaster.

Instagram Coasters

Ta da! That’s it! You are done! I told you, crazy easy!

Instagram Coasters

I was so thrilled with how the coasters for my brother turned out that I couldn’t wait to show them to my friend when she came over later that night. She loved them too and wanted to make a set for herself! She said her printer wasn’t nearly as good as my printer so she printed her photos that day from my house. Not only is the quality great from this printer, but it has a great design and a wonderful touch screen that walks you through processes and gives you great control. She called me from Walmart after she left my house to tell me she was buying her own printer and kicking her old printer to the curb. It’s seriously that good!

Instagram Coasters

I just know that once you try it you will love it as much as we did!

Instagram Coasters

Instagram Coasters

Then you can make a set of DIY Instagram Coasters for yourself and to give as gifts! You can even print out some gift tags here!

Instagram Coasters

Don’t forget to pin!

3 Ways To Make Holiday Shopping Simple

This post was sponsored by Regions Bank.  All opinions are my own.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…and the kiddos keep coming up to check to see if somehow something has been dropped off early!  Sound familiar?  While the holidays are about so much more than just getting presents, finding those perfect gifts to give is one of my favorites.  I love to pick it out, the anticipation before they open it and the look on their face when they see the gift for the first time.  But holiday shopping can get stressful if you go in without a game plan.  Here are 3 tips to make your gift giving be stress free and easy!

Make a List

If it were up to me I would have gifts for not only my family, but also for our extended family, our neighbors, teachers (and geesh we have a lot of teachers!), our mailman, and gifts to donate.  I feel like I’m Oprah.  Gifts for everybody!!

However that’s not really realistic.  Actually, that’s not realistic at all.  So start with a list.  My lists have 3 columns.  In the first column, I write down everyone I would like to give a gift to.  In the next column, I write my budget for that person. And in the third column, I write down any gifts that were requested or ideas I have.

While I want to give a gift to everyone, I don’t want to go into debt with the holiday season either.  When I sat down and thought about why I want to give a gift to, say our mailman, it’s because I want them to know I appreciate them.  While I would love for them to reach into the mailbox and find the keys to their BRAND NEW CAR (sorry, I’m still channeling my inner Oprah…), what I really want them to see is that I care.  A nice, thoughtful thank-you card can go a long way.  If you still want to give something, try homemade cookies, a loaf of banana bread or a $5 gift card to let them know that coffee is on you next time.  Gifts don’t have to be expensive.  People will be happy just by you telling them how much you appreciate them!

Don’t Buy Stuff Just To Buy Stuff

When I was younger, my grandparents had a big huge tree.  Every year there were hundreds of gifts underneath the tree.  One year they had to move the tree into the study.  My Grandmother may have gone a bit overboard that year, because when we opened the pocket doors to the room, gifts just tumbled out.  We still had to open some of our gifts in the living room, because you couldn’t even get into the study!  I’m sure when my Grandfather saw it he saw dollar signs, but as a small child it was like something out of the movies.

As an adult, I want my child to wake up Christmas morning and see that YES, Santa has arrived.  My son has never been a big toy child though.  Every year I would buy things and they would go unopened or un-played with.  Finally, I got smart and stopped buying stuff for the sake of buying stuff.  I will admit, at first I was a little anxious about it – our tree looked a little more bare than previous years, but my wallet was thankful.  And honestly, I think my son was happier, too.  He got exactly what he wanted and got to get to playing!  Don’t waste your time or money on items that aren’t going to get used.  This year, be sure you are shopping intentionally.

Shop Online

I’m a huge fan of shopping online.  Not only do I not have to worry about finding time to go shop, but for family and friends, I can have their gifts shipped directly to them.  Easy Peasy.

Speaking of easy, Regions Bank is ready to help!  With mobile apps, mobile banking and text bank options banking isn’t the chore that it used to be.  Plus, they also offer Visa Checkout, as well as Apple Pay® and Android Pay™.

What exactly are those options?

Visa Checkouteliminates the need to have to type your card information in every time you check out, which can be a total pain.  Online shopping is faster and easier – not to mention very secure!  They offer a multi-layer security system meaning that you can shop confidently!  Once you have registered with Visa for Visa Checkout, you can use this service at participating merchants on your computer, smart phone and/or tablet.   (This is my personal favorite way to shop!)

Apple Pay® allows you to store your Regions card information on your Apple products securely.  It’s easy to set up and a breeze to use.  At participating merchants, all you have to do is use the Touch ID on your iPhone® by placing it near the merchant’s card reader to authorize your payment at checkout and you’re done! How cool!

Android Payis similar to the Apple Pay® in that you are able to store your Regions card information, but this time for your Android™ device.  It’s fast and convenient.  Android Pay™ doesn’t actually send your card number through with your payment.  Instead, they have a virtual account number that is used to keep all of your information nice and secure.

Regions Personal Pay®(powered by Popmoney®!) is perfect for occasions like when you are splitting a large gift for your mother with your siblings or if you are paying for part of a holiday dinner, fundraisers or just sending cash to friends.  It’s secure and fast – you can usually send/receive payments in a few business days.  And it only costs $1 to send funds.  (There is no cost to receive funds.)

No matter how you choose to pay Regions Bank has an easy solution to help make your shopping easy and secure!

Random Acts of Kindness This Holiday Season #SpreadCheer

The holiday season is one of my favorites. It seems like people’s attitudes just begin to change and the Christmas spirit begins to take over. I try really hard to instill the love of giving all year around to my son, but during the holidays it’s a great excuse to kick it into overdrive with extra random acts of kindness.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Josh is getting older (bare with me for my pity party for a second…) and some of our Christmas traditions we used to do, he now says he’s too big for. (BOO!!!) I tried to explain to him you are never to old for Christmas and he still does most of our traditions like going to go look at lights, decorating the tree, and watching all of the Christmas movies (and even though he may say some are ‘baby shows’ he totally doesn’t want to miss them!). But some of our traditions like visiting Santa or writing a letter and sending it to the North Pole have been a no-go. (I’m sobbing now…) As sad as I am, the good news that just means we can make new traditions! And this year we’ve decided on small random acts of kindness throughout the month. He may almost be a teenager be getting older (I can’t bring myself to say the ‘T-word’ yet!), but that doesn’t mean we can’t make Christmas magical! Now, I am just teaching him a different kind of Christmas magic.

Random Acts Of Kindness Ideas For Kids:

  • Adopt a family – Contact your child’s school to find a family in need. Many stores also have trees set up where you can adopt a child’s wishlist item and donate it in store.
  • Don’t forget about seniors! Bring in treats, sing Christmas carols or small gifts to a local nursing home. You can also find out if there are any seniors who don’t have any family close by to see if you can bring them some extra cheer!
  • Animal shelters are a fun place to donate to. Plus, while you are there the dogs and cats are pretty excited about some cuddle time.
  • If your kids are older, have them organize a kids night! With your help, they can entertain kids (think Christmas movies, popcorn, etc) while their parents get some Christmas shopping done.
  • Serve a meal in a homeless shelter. While you are there you can drop off some cold weather essentials like coats, blankets and socks.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

The other day we decided to make cookies and deliver them to our neighbors. Betty Crocker has a great campaign right now called #SpreadCheer and they offer everything you need, including cute gift tags.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Betty Crocker has a variety of different cookie mixes like sugar, peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

The best part is that Betty Crocker makes it so easy to make cookies.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Even on spur of the moment, Tuesday evenings! AND my independent 12 year old can make them all by himself.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Joshua decided to make sugar cookies to help #SpreadCheer to our neighbors.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

One thing I have always done when decorating cookies is that I heat up the icing for a few seconds in the microwave. Then, we just dip the cookies in and it creates a smooth and evenly iced cookie.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Then, just add sprinkles!

Then, just add sprinkles!

Joshua really likes sprinkles. 😉

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Print out your free gift tags from Betty Crocker and package up your cookies.

Random Acts of Kindness For Kids

Then deliver to your neighbors. Knock. And hide! 😉 Mission #SpreadCheer was a success!

To help you spread cheer you can get a coupon for Betty Crocker cookie mixes here. And, we are giving away $20 via Paypal!

Green Christmas Idea: Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #PowerYourHoliday #CollectiveBias

Christmas and green seem to go hand in hand. Green Christmas trees stand proudly in our living rooms, greenery twists down the banisters of our stairs, and green wreaths hang on doors to welcome friends and family to our home. But Christmas and being eco-friendly can go hand in hand too!

Need some examples?

  • Set your Christmas tree lights on a timer. No need to waste electricity here!
  • Turn the thermostat down a degree or two. If you are cold, curl up with a blanket and a glass of hot cocoa near the fire.
  • Shop eco-friendly products.
  • Buy recycled gift wrap. Or wait….don’t buy it!

Did you know that most gift wrap can’t be recycled? Lots of wrapping paper is thin and doesn’t have many fibers making it easy to recycle and some has glitter, plastics and other non-paper materials added to them. Sure you can buy recycled gift wrap, but even better use what you have at home! This super cute Rudolph wrapping paper idea is simple, easy and a great way to recycle. Even better, just pull off the pom pom and it is 100% recyclable!

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

This project is super simple and really doesn’t take any longer than wrapping with traditional wrapping paper and adding all of the ribbons and bows! Plus, I kind of like the thought of having a bunch of Rudolphs under the tree!

You will need:

  • Brown Paper Bags
  • Scissors
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Black Marker
  • Red Pom Poms
  • Glue
  • Tape

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

Cut your brown paper bag down the side. Then open it up and remove the bottom of the bag so it will lay flat. If your bag has handles, trim those away too. Recycle your scraps!

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

Wrap your gift like you normally would!

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

Draw on two black eyes.

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

Glue on a red pom pom nose.

Recycled Rudolph Wrapping Paper

Out of the brown construction paper cut out two antler shapes. Don’t think about the shape too much! Each reindeer’s antlers are unique! 🙂

Ta da! Isn’t it cute?

Another great way to go green this holiday is to make sure to pick up Energizer EcoAdvanced batteries. Not only are they good to keep on hand all the time, but especially during the holiday season. You don’t want to have excitement over a new toy to be met with the disappointment of not having batteries!

The Energizer EcoAdvanced batteries are the world’s first AA battery to be made of 4% recycled batteries. It also happens to be the longest lasting Energizer battery! Double win! We bought a few packs of AA EcoAdvanced batteries and also their AAA size. We seem to never have them when we need them so I wanted to make sure that we had a supply on hand!

You can find the Energizer EcoAdvanced batteries at your local Walmart!

My son is a big tech guy so I know that we need a good quality battery that will last (and last and last!) so Energizer is our first choice for quality. I’m so excited to support a brand that holds our passion with keeping our planet in mind. Did you know that Energizer is committed to bringing positive energy to the world without the waste? They are working towards a future where all of their batteries are made with recycled batteries! While 4% may not sound like a lot, it actually is! That means 4% of the total weight or about 10% of the active ingredient in the battery! What an awesome step! In fact, by 2025 their goal is to grow that number to have Energizer batteries made up of 40% recycled batteries. That’s 10 times the amount now! This is definitely a company I feel good about supporting! Not only do our electronics work longer, but their ideas are ones I love!
