I really don’t like this: “if children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.” NO! This is not necessarily true. Shy is not a problem, shy is just how some people are.
teresajoy I agree that being shy isn’t a bad thing but I think the author was trying to say that if someone – not just a child – fees like everytime they say something that they are ridiculed for it then they just learn to stay quiet. 🙂
