ChiTag: A Bucket List Of Fun!

I am a Hoosier through and through, but sometimes I get super excited to head out to one of my other favorite cities…Chicago! Not only are we heading out to Chicago this weekend, but we get to head up to ChiTAG!

ChiTAG has been on my bucket list of events to take the kids to for a while now. Have you heard of it? It is a toy and game event with all the major toy companies. It is a four day event with a two day inventors conference, TAGIES Award Gala, and a two day fair. The best part is that you don’t have to be a blogger to attend. It’s open to the public. And even better, bringing your kiddos is ENCOURAGED!

This event showcases all the newest, coolest, and super awesome toys of today!! The TAG fair has several things to do and keep people of all ages busy for days.

There is a new Beer Garden with adult and party games area. There are two sections in this area. One is for adults over the age of 18 and has plenty of games and beer. The other area in this section has the newest and top of the line games for all ages.

There is also the STRATEGO national tournament. Stratego is one the most popular board game in history. The tournament starts on Sunday the 18th and runs all day.

The two day fair event has several other exciting things to entertain which includes: The YO-YO competitions, the young inventors challenge, Baby and Toddler PlaySpace, GraviTrax challenge, and photo OPs with the Star Wars characters, and many more…
