Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates
Do you have any friends or relatives who are hard to shop for? You know, the type of people who already have everything. I’ll admit I have a few relatives who are such a pain when it comes to buying gifts. My gift solution for those types of people is chocolate! I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate!? If you have those hard to shop for friends than you’ll love these chocolates. I had the opportunity to meet one of the chocolatiers for KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates. (Yes, the same KOHLER that makes bathroom fixtures!) They make some of the most delicious chocolate I’ve ever tasted in my lifetime.
In 2007, KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates was born because of CEO Herb Kohler and his search for the best turtle. Kohler creates not just terrapins, but chocolate bars, garden ganache, rare facets, brownies, emeralds, platinum, terrapin trail mix, toffee bark, dark mountain toffee, and botanical truffles. No matter what type of chocolate is your guilty pleasure, they have it! They also offer great gift sets which are now my “go-to” for gifts! I got the chance to try KOHLER’s Holiday Caramel Gift Set and let me tell you, they were some of the most delicious caramels I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know who loved them more, my son or myself! The way they melted in your mouth, and the succulent flavor made it hard to eat just one! Plus, aren’t they just gorgeous? They really sparkle!

I was so impressed by how gorgeous all of the chocolates that KOHLER created were. They were truly their own works of art.
Kohler’s Holiday Caramels will be on sale starting October 22nd through the holiday season, and will be available in a four-piece for $9.99, nine-piece for $18.99, and a 32-piece for $59.99 variety packages, or you can get a nine-piece package of each individual flavor. The Red chocolates are the Ginger Snap Caramel, the Green ones are Almond Green Caramels, the Silver ones are Kohler’s Sea Salt Caramel, and the Gold ones are Kohler’s traditional Golden Caramel with just a hint of brown sugar. My personal favorite were the Ginger Snap Caramels. Nothing reminds more of the holiday season than gingerbread.
