It allows you to load your worlds, mods, and game play, even when not sitting at your computer. This is great for when kids go to their friends houses. Our library has Minecraft Mondays – they have the computers all set up and kids all come to play. This will be perfect!

Now, I know these are pricey, but this is one of those things that are completely worth the investment. Yes, I said investment! There are two Minecraft specific courses, Mod Design 1 and Server Design 1. Both of these products are award winning and teach kids computer coding. Like, real computer coding. Kids will learn Java code with over 30 hours worth of videos and online material. I can’t even begin to tell you what a valuable skill computer coding is in our technical world! We have the Micro World and it was a huge hit. So this year his wishlist includes some of the other Lego world kits like The Nether, Micro World – The End, and The Village. And if those don’t keep your kiddo busy enough, there are tons of other awesome Lego kits!
