We just switched our phone service to Vonage. $9.95 per month and no outlay of money.
Debbie how do you like the quality? We looked into it but had heard ify things about the clarity.
So far so good. I had asked around before ordering it and only got positive recommendations.
That’s great! So glad you found a money saving option that works for you! Maybe since it runs through the internet it depends on how your internet is in your area. Where we live we have decent Internet but they don’t run the fastest speeds here. Yet. Hopefully soon!! We stream/run everything through our internet and we are always online! 🙂

What do you do when the electricity goes out? Do you have a back-up phone service to use?
We just use our cell phone if the electricity goes out. No different than a regular land line.
