Pressure cookers. I admit I was really clueless. I thought they were only used in canning and boy was I wrong! I’m a busy mom. I’ve got things to do, places to go, and children to chase. Some nights I just don’t have time to cook the meal I would like to. By the time you run home from baseball, help with homework exhaustion is setting in. And every once in awhile I look at the clock and I’m just like “ugh. Really?!? Already?!?”

In walks in Aroma Housewares and their pressure cooker. This thing is not just for canning. It gets the job done – and fast!! We are talking ribs in 30 minutes, pork roasts in an hour, corn on the cob in a minute! Fast.

The Aroma Pressure Cooker was easy to use – their directions were great. Which is perfect because I am not a great chef and like I said, I had no clue what in the world I was doing! The pressure cooker is 6 quarts which is the perfect size for family meals. Since the weather is getting cold here we made beef stew. Normally that would be a weekend dinner since it takes so long to cook, but it only took 1 hour in the pressure cooker! Score!! And it was delicious. The meat was nice and tender. Double score!! Nothing stuck to the inside since it is nonstick so clean up was a breeze! A home-run!!!
